Just got my CPU fidget spinner today and I’m very happy with it. It’s not super well balanced but it spins well and for a long time. The outer frame seems to be made of aluminum but the parts you actually hold onto are made from plastic. It seems to be a high quality plastic that won’t wear or turn to oil over time. I just wish that they had made both components (besides the CPU obviously) out of aluminum to make it feel more premium.
I like that the LTT logo is engraved in one side of the finger hold. The whole thing seems to be disassemble-able but I’m not sure if you can get the bearing out if you want to replace it.
I think this mainly a funny novelty to sit on your desk and play with occasionally but I appreciate that this CPU got another life and didn’t go to a landfill.
This is a cool little gadget, the bearings are super smooth and it spins and spins and spins effortlessly, so soothing to watch!Works just as well on a desktop as it does in between your fingers, a super fun way to repurpose VERY old but near mint condition AMD processors. Great job Creator Warehouse!
I will say, i was worried about the long shipping from canada to Minnesota, but i was genuinely happy that my cpu fidget spinner came with NO BENT PINS, it was truly revolutionary technology.
