I love it -its the correct weight for me and my use case. If I were to offer an upgrade it would be to try something like the Uni Mitsubishi Kuru Toga system but that may still be patented but it gives a nice uniform line thickness.
Really good, just like its ink based brother
Satisfying weight. Writes nice. Wish that LTT sold additional colors of 0.5mm lead on LTTstore as the colored leads are awesome! Would buy again.
So far the only complaint I have is the #5 lead that won the poll. I would have preferred a thicker lead but other than that this mechanical pencil is great. I love that they kept the slide mechanism even though it's redundant, it gives the pencil a good look and matches the pen perfectly.
+ Great design, quality construction, feels premium.
- Heavy, no eraser, expensive.
On the heavy side for a pencil. After a couple hours of sketching, I noticed my hand getting fatigued and my fingers were getting sore from rubbing on the the metal textured grip. However, the lack of an eraser is the main reason as to why I won't be using this pencil for sketching.
The price tag was high but fair given the build quality, but shipping costs to Australia + taxes then increased the total to $64.66 AUD ($57.98 CAD) making it the most expensive pencil I've ever purchased.
I absolutely love the build quality though and I still think it's a great pencil to have in my collection, but I think i'll only be using it for jotting down quick notes.
If LTT decide to continue making these after the recycled screwdriver shafts are gone, I would like to see it made with a lighter material and a softer grip.
