Scribedriver Bolt Action Pen

Just like the other scribedriver, the mechanical pencil comes apart easily enough so that you can swap out and refill the graphite easily, but it will also be darn secure, too. If the "mechanical" part breaks down, likewise it can be repaired for a fraction of the price of the scribedriver itself. (So repairing is easier, too.)
My only critique is I'd like the end of the scribedriver to have an eraser bit, but just having another eraser on hand is a simple enough work around.
Nice feel to write with, does not have an eraser though.
Great feel, nice writer and beautiful quality.
I bought the Scribedriver Pencil to match the pen. I was reluctant to get it because it uses 0.5 lead and I tend to break 0.5 lead far too easily. The mechanism that holds to the lead is very rigid so that doesn't seem to be a problem. Writing with it feels very nice, it's balanced, and the knurling is comfortable. However, it somehow still feels rushed or that they didn't think about everything.
The lead can be advanced either with the top button or the LTT knub on the side. The top is easier to depress but feels a little mushy. The knub reaches tension in the middle and it quite stiff, leaving a deep indentation in my thumb. When trying to quickly press it it 2-3 times, it's difficult, to the point it's almost useless since the top is present.
Before it came out I purchased the Zebra M-701 0.7 pencil. That pencil has the ability to remove the cap and use a very small eraser that works fairly well. The LTT Pencil does not have an eraser. As such, get good. If you mess up, you'll have to bring an eraser as well. For a student, that's workable. As an every day carry in a pocket, no so much. While the Zebra feels noticeably cheaper, it also matches it's price at about 10x less than the LTT pencil.
This is a really nice mechanic pencil. It goes well with my leather note book and it pushes out just the right amount of lead unlike many others I've had. I like the weight of it too. Its not too heavy. Overall a very nice use of the screwdriver shaft rejects.
