Product Information

Fabric: 88% cotton, 12% nylon (flame, water and chemical resistant)

Description

The LTT Workshop Jacket was designed with makers in mind. With a variety of pockets and sleeves on the outside & inside, it should be a perfect partner for any project in your workshop.

Our cotton/nylon blend is flame, water, and chemical resistant, and our snaps have been refined to stay closed & comfortable in any position.

We absolutely love this thing, and we know you will too!

DISCLAIMER: Please do not wear when using tools where long sleeves would be unsafe. Always practice safe workshop habits!!

Better than I thought a workshop jacket could be

Initial impression is it's a good quality smart product, nothing feels cheaped out on, many pockets. It's also quite comfortable, it doesn't get in the way. The sizing is slightly generous I'm a large and it's more 'a large wearing a jumper underneath' but I actually prefer that.
I do a lot of workshop work featuring grease, diesel, dust and dirt. I've been using it 5-6 days a week for 2 months and it has held up surprisingly well, the stitching is still fine and it seems to be a bit resistant to picking up chemical and burning smells (grinding). It's definitely water resistant, I've been in the rain a bunch and it's kept me dry, unless it was downpouring where suddenly it didn't.
Overall I'm very happy with it, I feel very comfortable and safe when I'm working and don't have to worry about anything catching or my clothes underneath getting damaged or stained. I would buy again but I hope they make a V2 with the following adjustments.
1) Option of a zip up, I work exposed to the elements, the wind gets in currently.
2) A drawstring at the waist partially to help with wind again, partially because I don't like any hang on my clothes when I lean forward in a workshop environment.
3) A more discrete inner pocket fastener, maybe with a magnet latch, as when I put my phone in the left zip pocket, it presses the inner pocket button into my ribs, then if the button is undone and I try to lift my left arm it tries to take off my nipple (I exaggerate but still uncomfortable).
Great work, thanks for making excellent quality stuff.

Really great for all the basic tools I need for 3D printing and CNC milling

I work with 3d printers mostly and for the basic workflow in a printlab and doing maintenance the jacket is perfect. Has enough pockets and slots for all the basic tools you use for 3d printers and cnc machines like hex keys, side cutters, calipers, adhesives etc. It also is good protection for clothes in case there is UV resin splash or you touch a heated part of a pellet extruder etc.

Great Jacket

Fits a little looser than other equivalent sizes from LTT. Nice heavy weight fabric and well lined. Great pockets and pouches in handy places.

It's a little too hot for Australian summer but I look forward to using it in winter.
