These pants are pretty good in design, they hold a lot of tools for sure, but they seem to be lacking in pant making experience for lack of better words. I wasn't aware they were going to be made of a stretchy type material, which is OK but it makes some of the pockets hard to get things in and out of since they are tight to your leg. Considering it was Linus where I learned its a great idea to use the coin pocket to hold ear bud cases, I would've thought they'd try to make them easy to use with that scenario. They are fine if standing but very difficult any other time. I have some pants that are not like that and are easy all the time. Also, with the pockets that are mid-thigh, you would think those would be better for it since they don't scrunch up when sitting, but they are much to deep for that and also get in the way of easily sliding something like my phone in and out of the normal upper pocket. That may just be a flaw with having so many pockets layered on top of each other. I don't think I need a size up or anything since the waist is just right, and even need a belt when I load up with tools, and length is perfect. But everything between the waist and just above the knee feels more like tights or something. Any other pants I don't have this issue. Maybe I should just get a size up and resort to a sturdy belt.
Also, there is the issue of the many loose threads on these things. For a brand new garment that was not that cheap, they just don't feel like quality wasn't a top priority.
I still love the pants as they have so many pockets. I recently went for a work trip where I regularly had side cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, LTT screwdriver, a pocket full of trash packaging from installing many electrical components, a pocket full of unopened components, and my usual multitool keys phone wallet and ear buds. It was great, and none of the tools felt like they were going to fall out, even when contorting in odd positions sometimes. The stretch did help in that regard. I have had some of those heavy duty Carhart pants that are impossible to swing your leg over anything, these are the opposite.
Bought these in June, wore them for three months and the crotch blew out.
I don't work in the trades, and these pants were not worn daily. For the price of them, I find it hard to swallow that the material is so prone to failure.
The overall design of them is great, but I didn't buy cargo pants from temu and this level of durability is unacceptable.
These pants are awesome. They feel great, the pockets, fit, material, etc. are all awesome. There are major flaws that have left me without a pair of pants less than 1 year later.
The first thing that I noticed was minor. The flap to cover the cargo pockets (the magnet flap), began to curl upward on the side that did not have a magnet. Eventually this seemed to max out, so it never became a big issue.
The next thing to go was big. I wear a military style hard plastic belt with all of my pants in an attempt to stop breaking belt buckles when I pull them hard. This has been the case for a few years now, and I have never had an issue until the LTT cargo pants. When I originally got them I was confused and slightly annoyed that they belt loops were so far apart, with two right next to eachother in the back, but didn't think much of it. Well, about 10 months after getting the pants, those two belt loops have completely frayed and broken off, leaving me loopless on half the pants. This made it impossible for belts to do their job. Very sad.
I continued to wear the pants anyway, because they were that nice. Shortly after that (~11 months after purchase) the thighs are completely worn through. This happens eventually with all pants, I understand. I was just hopeful based on the feel of the material that it would be more resistant to this type of wear and tear. Unfortunately it was not.
Love the pants, would not suggest a buy at this price due to the issues I had, mainly the belt loops.
Not the colour they look like in product photos. Much lighter in colour. Otherwise they're awesome. Would very much hope for a black pair at some point.
Best pants I’ve ever owned
Enough pockets to fit basically anything you can imagine
