Despite the near-constant advertisements for the thing, I never really had much interest in the LTT water bottle until very recently. I go to the gym, but any old cheap bottle is fine for that. Beyond that, I've never really been far enough away from a tap to consider needing one.
I started a new job a few months ago that involves attending a lot of lengthy events where I can't really break for a drink, though, and the thirst at some of the longer ones was starting to get to me. As I was ordering a mousepad anyway (also excellent, by the way), I figured, "fine, I'll get an LTT water bottle while I'm at it".
And sure enough, when it first arrived it was, indeed, a bottle, capable of holding water. I put some water in it, and the water remained in it until I drank it all. Job done. Very uninteresting. Very attractive, but... room temperature wasn't really an adequate test of its abilities.
But a few weeks ago I took it with me to an outdoor event, on the hottest day of 2023 in the UK. It hit 32°C that day, and I had no shade. The midday sun was beating down on this thing for *five hours*. Bear in mind I ordered a stealth bottle, so it's completely black and made of metal - it literally burnt my hand when I picked it up.
The water inside, though? That life-saving juice remained as refrigerated as it was when I took it out of the fridge that morning. It literally did not change temperature from my first swig to my last. From 10am until 4pm, the water inside - despite being in a black, metal container in constant, direct sunlight on a 32°C day - remained cool and refreshing.
This thing is MAGIC. Absolutely worth every penny, and probably saved me from a nasty case of heatstroke.
It also looks very cool. The stealth one particularly is vague enough that non-tech people won't really notice, while tech people will notice and say, "hey, that looks a bit like a circuit board..."
I love the size of it and it does a great job keeping my water ice cold all day through work.
It's a great water bottle, the printed design is really good. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the bottle and now there is sand like sound in the bottle. Still a great product though.
The drink stay cold when the day stay hot.
I bring it to school everyday, works very well. I've even had people recognize LTT on it!
