Conflicted

One thing about this product is that large portions often flake off so you'll need to find a new section of the sheet that's not flawed if this happens. Installing it is an even bigger nightmare because separating the thermal pad from the plastic sheet is almost impossible. The thermal pad is so thin there is no good way of separating it from the plastic sheet. I tried mounting the cooler on top of it hoping the pressure would make the thermal pad stick to the IHS, which did not work. I ended up having to heat up the CPU so that the thermal pad would melt and separate from the plastic. My gripe with this product is that there aren't clear instructions for installation which leaves the end user scouring the internet for answers. When it comes to performance, the difference is not night and day compared to conventional thermal pastes but idle temperatures do drop by a significant margin. My CPU also no longer hits the thermal limit when under a stress test which I am happy about. If this product was a little cheaper and the installation became less of a hassle, then this would become my #1 thermal solution.

Perfect for MSI gaming Laptop

Used this on my GS75 and it works great and is noticeably cooler than thermal paste. I bought the 60x60 pad and it was enough for both cpu and gpu with some left over. To be honest though I got shaky hands, so I used more material then needed because I retired twice on my cpu to make sure I put it on perfect without wrinkles. When I put it on my gpu i got it first try without wrinkles and still had material left over. I can easily recommend this stuff and it is way safer then liquid metal so no fear of destroying your laptop.

I put this **** on everything

Applied it to my 7800X3D, 4070 Super, PS4, and Switch, and amazed at the difference it made! The PC was brand new, so compared to stock, the GPU went from max of 79° C to 69° C, PS4 no longer sounds like a jet engine, and switch is cool and quiet. Have just a little left, so will be trying it on my old laptop, but PLEASE restock this!!!
