Description
At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!
If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.
PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.
First time using a thermal pad like this? Check out our quick installation guide here
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.
In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

Size Guide

my 3 star is not on the product but the device i used on ; lenovo thinkpad p1 gen2. the ptm7950 performs relatively better than two previous thermal pastes i have tried.
installation is far better than thermal pastes.
Great replacement/upgrade for my Asus Tuf707 laptop.
Stopped it from thermal throttling in very demanding games.
Combine that with a good "pressure" laptop cooling pad and you gain from 10 to 20 °C drops depending on your environment if your temps were too high and/or your factory thermal paste old.
On my laptop model it uses about 1/5 of the PTM7950 60mm x 60mm pad for rtx 4060laptop die + i7-12700H die.
The PTM7950 is pretty good, but the packaging is not great: the ptm gets squished and leaks out, making a little bit of it unusable. Putting a thin cardboard spacer around the ptm to create some thickness would easily solve the issue and, even with temperatures changes during the travel, the ptm wouldn't leak out
Just as described
Worked really well and was slightly better then arctic mx7
NO MORE THERMAL THROTTLING!!!! :)
