Amazing tech. I used it on my NAS and on my Bitaxe immeadiate temperature drop and i hope no more dissasemble or maintenance.

As a long time LTT viewer. I thought this product was cool but I didnt think I would functionally need it. Cut to 2 weeks ago, where my 4 year old Dell Precision 5570 started to stutter and freeze due to thermals. Cleaning it out didnt solve. Two seperate reddit post pointed towards using PTM7950 to help overcome Dell's inefficient thermal solution for this model. Ordered, and shipping took a bit longer to stated(shipping companies fault). I applied this and idle temps have gone from 61 to 45 degrees, Cinebench results increased roughly 10%(both pro/post tests done after the machine was under load for about 20 minutes). Most importantly, hitches/freezing fully stopped. The difference is huge and likely isnt attributed to solely the PTM7950. The paste that this replaced was old and some hadcome out the sides and solidified a bit. With that said a new application of paste may have gotten me partially up to the same results. Either way, very satisfying to work with as long as you follow the fridge tip.

Works great! I changed the thermal compound on my laptop and there's been a noticeable reduction in fan-noise and a slight increase in (percieved) performance. Application wasn't too difficult too, froze the sheet, and it cut easily. Perhaps slightly messy, as you'd probably get a bit on your fingers from handling, but easy to wash off.
I was worried a lot of the pad would leak out of the packaging during shipping since I live in Asia but it arrived just fine, with just a tiny bit around the edges (I think this is completely expected).

The PTM7950 PHASE CHANGE THERMAL PAD is great. Once you get use to using it you won't want to use paste again!
