Description
At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!
If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.
PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.
First time using a thermal pad like this? Check out our quick installation guide here
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.
In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

Size Guide

Awesome product but somewhat difficult to apply when worm. After testing on 35W CPU (i5-8500T) temps come down about 5°C under load from 79°C to 74°C scoring about more 7% of points in Cristal Mark. I applied it on bought my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 Mini's running an gameserver each. Reality happyto know they are running not only cooler and also maintenance free for at least 5 years and only maintenance is dusting.
Great material, applied it to my razer laptop and saw temps drop by about 9 degreeswhen gaming which is a big deal for these heat prone rigs!
My laptop has had a noticable decrease in temps.
Worked as advertised
Knocked an easy 5–8 degrees off my CPU temps after only one day burn in. Cinebench went from a before of 1928, to an after of 1970 to 2024 the next day.
Tip: Put in freezer for 15–20 minutes before using, cut to size, peel the stiffer side off, apply to CPU, take an ice cube in a plastic bag and put it on the top for 30–45 seconds. It will harden the PTM and make it easier to remove the plastic top protector. No bubbles, no tears in the PTM.
