Description
Our ratcheting multi-bit screwdriver features a knurled stainless steel shaft with a strong embedded magnet, internal storage for 12 "shorty" 20mm bits (or 6 full-sized bits), an in-house designed three-lobe handle for comfort and ergonomics, and a tastefully-embossed LTT logo on the end cap.
The ratchet is based on Megapro's long-standing & reliable design, but has been significantly modified to suit our needs. We reversed the ratchet direction (right for clockwise, left for anti-clockwise), adjusted the spring for lighter back-force which allows you to ratchet-drive even very small screws, and optimized for smoothness and quiet function. It's rated for operation of up to 220 inch-pounds of force.
Our bit storage is another collaboration with Megapro. We utilized their patented bit clip storage design, but adjusted the length of the clips & the size of the total cavity to allow for our smaller, more ergonomic handle.
All external plastics are Triax 1120 - a Nylon and ABS polymer which is great for injection molding parts like ours - for its overall durability and chemical resistance. The only exception is the black "accent ring" on the all black versions, which are made from machined Delrin, and the orange "accent ring" on the black & orange version, which are made from injection molded ABS.
Internal plastics in our ratchet are also made from Delrin for its self-lubricating properties, and our ratchet housing is made from Zinc.
Our industrial-looking black phosphate-coated S2 steel bits are durable and rust resistant.
Standard bit set included with the screwdriver: PH0, PH1, PH2, H2, H2.5, H4, SL2, SL4, SL6, SQ1, SQ2, and our 5x5 Magnet bit (affectionately named "The Screw Retriever") (This was previously listed as a 6x6 magnet bit, but that was incorrect. The size is 5x5mm)
NOTE: Bits are a consumable item and will wear or break down over time. Visual wear to the black phosphate coating is normal and expected.

Screwdriver Bit Set

The best screwdriver i have.
I've been working on computers for more than 20 years, and I've been tearing down and building things for even longer. I've used other ratcheting screwdrivers in the past, and they only last so long before I end up going back to something static. Until about eight months ago, I was exclusively using another popular brand of screwdriver with knurled grips and a bearing end that made it easier to work with. But nothing compares to what the LTT screwdriver can do.
Now to the meat of the review: I probably watched a dozen different videos reviewing the LTT screwdriver before buying it. I immediately started using it for my day-to-day tasks—tearing down laptops, racking and un-racking server and network equipment, installing wall mounts—you name it, and I’ve probably used this screwdriver for it. I even used it to help build my desk. Obviously, it didn’t cut the wood or do the measuring (although an accurate ruler on the shaft might be a cool idea for future models—can I claim that idea if R&D hasn’t already thought of it?), but it definitely made a huge difference when installing all the Torx bit screws (I borrowed a T20 and T25 from my “other” brand kit).
The downside to my impact driver is that… well… it’s an impact driver, and driving screws into a desktop to connect it to the frame is just asking to puncture the top or split the wood. So I installed over 100 screws manually. It was still tiring, but I have to say—it’s my favorite screwdriver. I don’t expect anyone else to use it exactly like I do, but I guarantee there are people using it in ways I haven’t thought of. Between IT work, cars, household items, building furniture, and other hobbies, I do not regret getting it. I’m even considering picking up the stubby version for harder-to-reach spaces, expanding my bit sets, and maybe getting a second one so I can keep one with me at all times as well as one at home.
Verdict: Get one if you use screwdrivers at all in your life. The actuation is amazing, the built-in storage doubles as a palm pivot, and the knurled shaft is fantastic. If I had to make any even mildly negative comment, it would be that when I ordered mine, there weren’t many color options. That’s mostly personal preference (and the inner need to modify and personalize anything I own). It helped me build my desk, so I guess I owe it? Well, not Linus—he doesn’t get the credit here. The tool itself deserves the acknowledgment and congratulations for being top-notch. Linus—if you read these at all, be more like the screwdriver.
On another note, it’s a shame I don’t have a finished picture of the completed desk—it’s massive, and honestly one of my best PC setups. It’s also a pretty solid accomplishment, especially since I assembled a large portion of it using this screwdriver. It’s 8' x 6' and 31 3/4" tall (2.43m x 1.82m x 0.80m for everyone else who uses a sensible measurement system—curse you, imperial system). I wonder how practical it would be to adapt various bits and sockets for it and use it elsewhere. Who knows? Anyway, that concludes my long, weird, winding rant about a wonderful screwdriver (not you, Linus—the tool; it’s the amazing one here). I hope this review helps, for whatever it’s worth.
Great quality screwdriver :) . I used it for almost all of my builds. This is the second one I ordered.
Amazing screwdriver and the perfect fidget for between matches of Overwatch, if only I didn’t lose it somewhere in my garage, oh well guess I’ll buy a second :3
Really high quality and overall exceeded my expectations
