Installation was as smooth as hoped, it's nice looking, and the functionality is great. Would recommend.

A good budget bidet for elongated toilets

I bought one, loved it, and bought another for the upstairs toilet. They are great! Truly life changing. Installation is a breeze, especially when they include thread tape in the packaging, and I haven't had any issues with leaks or my existing plumbing.

Now, my downstairs toilet is elongated, and the upstairs toilet is not. I just rent the place, not sure why they're different. This bidet works best on an elongated toilet. On the elongated toilet, it hits you right where the good lord split you almost perfectly. The power is great, and gets you good and clean. The bidet has two nozzles, one labeled "front" and the other labeled "rear". Now, I had assumed that "front" meant "for the ladies" but that's not at all true. I'm not sure what the rear one is intended for, but I find it just richocets water of my hind-end on the back of the toilet seat. Not great, so I don't use it. The "front" nozzle is a more direct spray from the bottom, straight up where it needs to go. My recommendation, don't use rear.

On the upstairs regular bowl toilet, because there's two nozzles for front and rear, I find they both shoot off to one side or the other, hitting my cheeks more than anything. It's not too bad, you can easily adjust to get the stream where you need it, but I wouldn't recommend it for a regular toilet bowl. I've tried moving the nozzle around in the toilet to try to allievate this, but the angle of attack from the nozzle is too much to be compensated for.

All that being said, for $50 you can't really go wrong! If you have an enlongated toilet, buy this one! If you have a regular bowl, maybe look into a Tushy, they have a single nozzle that can be tilted and aimed from their controls. They're a little more expensive. Hands down though, you really can't go wrong with the Swipe bidet, it's a really good entry bidet! I've been very pleased and clean!!

Good product but possible installation hiccups

Works well with simple installation procedure as well as all the required tools even for uninitiated plumbers.

The only issue I got was with the toilet seat clearance. My toilet seat has a full plastic down inward curve. This made the bidet interfering in fully closing the toilet seat (had around a 10 cm/4 inch gap). I had to file out the seat to allow it to close properly.

Really bad for non Americans

I live in a magical place called 'not America', we don't use 7/8" plumbing here, we use 1/2", so the T adapter that came with the bidet is completly useless. I clocked this ahead of time because I read the manual, so I tried buying a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter, but aparently 3/8" plumbing literally doesn't exist in my country. Eventually I found a seller on Aliexpress that sells the exact same T adapter that came with the bidet, as well as another one in the right size, but it still took an extra month to get here. Having a dedicated european skew would be great.
Also also, the bidet's 'universal fit' mechanism didn't fit my toilet so I had to get creative with zip ties.
My butt is clean but Idk if the hustle was worth it.
