Description

A laptop backpack worthy of your daily carry. The Commuter Backpack is built to support your day, every day.

We’ve taken all the best features of the original LTT Backpack and put them into a more portable 20L form factor.

Effortless organization
19 carefully curated pockets keep your tech, accessories, and everyday essentials organized. We did the thinking, so you don’t have to.

Engineered for your gear
The quick-access tech compartment features a padded laptop pocket with a floating bottom, a raised microsuede-lined tablet sleeve, and stretchy pockets for your chargers and cables. It extends out to give you full access to your devices in seconds, saving you time every day.

Surprising amount of storage
A 20L external volume and a large storage compartment we call “the bag of holding” is built to fit and organize your day-to-day essentials.

Quick-access external pockets
Get access to your water bottle or umbrella within arm’s reach with two external pockets. When not in use, two hidden zipped pockets allow you to store even MORE stuff.

Secure what matters most
Hidden behind the back padding is an even stealthier RFID-blocking pocket to secure valuables like your passport, wallet, keys, or cash.

Carry heavy, feel light
Padded, custom molded shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across your shoulders. An adjustable chest strap allows for greater weight distribution with heavier loads. Also features a padded, ventilated back for extra comfort.

Makes travel easier
Save time at the airport with a checkpoint-friendly design that allows you to grab your laptop in seconds. A convenient luggage strap allows you to secure the Commuter Backpack to your luggage.

Built to last
Overengineered with a durable, water-resistant Repreve canvas, ripstop lining, reinforced stitching, water-resistant YKK zippers, and a riveted carry handle on top.

I use the commuter bag for just that... my daily commute to work, where I have to park off site and skate in on a cruiserboard. the backpack is perfect for taking in my laptop and tablet, as well as an ereader and ipod, while having space for my lunch, pens, notebooks, etc. All while sitting comfortably on my back as I skate in.

Not for everything

The LTT commuter backpack isn't for everything, my use case is a tech that needs to be able to carry flashlights, ifixit kits, plyers and other random needed things. Once everything is in it's place it's really tight and doesn't fit like I want, I've had to compromise way more than I expected too. IT appears that each pocket is more designed for LTT tools than universal. Saying that I do like a few pockets that make me not want to sell this and go back to my old tool bag but it's certainly something I wish was more universal and not so compact and fitted for things from the LTT store.

very expensive, but worth it.

Best backpack I could have hoped for. I keep discovering things i love about it. The simple laptop pocket and making the second pocket deep is nice. Food balance of raw space and organized pockets. Pairs well with tech sack in the bottom.

Great build quality but lacks organization

I really love the build quality of the backpack, it feels amazing and I will be keeping it.

However, I feel like there’s a huge opportunity missed for better organization. There’s very few mesh pockets for you to see what’s inside. Also, there’s complete lack of organization on the outer edges of the pocket of holding; instead theres quite a few pockets on the laptop side and then none anywhere else so your stuff all falls to the bottom.

Regardless, it’s a great backpack but I really wish it had more pockets especially mesh or open ones for my cables like they did for the laptop bag.

Very Uncomfortable Straps, Crowded Pockefs

The backpack is built to a high quality standard but has some design issues that make it unusable for me. The straps have a strange "bumpy" surface that creates hard pressure points on my shoulder when I wear the pack with any weight on it.

It also has a lot of pockets on the rear side of the main compartment that are made of overlapping lining material - if you use one of those pockets, the layers in front and behind become unusable.

I also had a terrible and confusing shipping experience with no communication about shipping issues until a WAN show over a month after the issues occured.
