A laptop backpack worthy of your daily carry. The Commuter Backpack is built to support your day, every day.

We’ve taken all the best features of the original LTT Backpack and put them into a more portable 20L form factor.

Effortless organization
19 carefully curated pockets keep your tech, accessories, and everyday essentials organized. We did the thinking, so you don’t have to.

Engineered for your gear
The quick-access tech compartment features a padded laptop pocket with a floating bottom, a raised microsuede-lined tablet sleeve, and stretchy pockets for your chargers and cables. It extends out to give you full access to your devices in seconds, saving you time every day.

Surprising amount of storage
A 20L external volume and a large storage compartment we call “the bag of holding” is built to fit and organize your day-to-day essentials.

Quick-access external pockets
Get access to your water bottle or umbrella within arm’s reach with two external pockets. When not in use, two hidden zipped pockets allow you to store even MORE stuff.

Secure what matters most
Hidden behind the back padding is an even stealthier RFID-blocking pocket to secure valuables like your passport, wallet, keys, or cash.

Carry heavy, feel light
Padded, custom molded shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across your shoulders. An adjustable chest strap allows for greater weight distribution with heavier loads. Also features a padded, ventilated back for extra comfort.

Makes travel easier

Fantastic bag but doesn't fit my needs

Shipping: I ordered the bag on July 9th and it arrived July 15th. It did arrive with some very minor damage, the stitching at the top of the bag where the air tag pocket is was frayed but a quick snip with some scissors fixed that.

Design/Material: I love the more rounded look to the bag compared to the larger LTT backpack, it looks sleek. The inside being orange helps a lot, everything is very visible due to the contrast and the orange is a good shade. Orange is one of my least favorite colors but this backpack hits that sweet spot where it's good. The material feels very nice both in and outside the bag.

Storage: Here is where things begin to fall apart. If you are a light packer, this bag will work for you. I am not. I hate the feeling of not having everything I could want/need with me at all times so I carry a lot.

- In the main compartment, it feels like there should be enough room to fit a lot but it's deceptively small. The pockets interfere with one another quite a bit so if you fill up one, then chances are another becomes a tight squeeze to get anything else into. There's also quite a few just kind of useless pockets. The pocket at the very bottom of the main compartment is essentially useless as to get to it, you have to take everything out. I have not found a use for it yet. There's also a small pocket that can really only fit a pen in it. And unfortunately in the main compartment, there's only one mesh/stretchy pocket. That pocket is great and I use it all the time, it's so easy to put stuff in and get it right back out where as the other pockets are tight and you have to either dig around to get what you want out or it's kind of difficult to slide things into them.

- Laptop compartment: This compartment sucks. It has two pockets to slide in your laptop/tablet, a zipper pocket and two of the previously mentioned great mesh/stretchy pockets. I pray for whoever actually puts their laptop/tablet in this pocket because good luck zipping it shut. I put my Kindle and a tablet in it + some power bricks/cables and an Anker power bank in the top mesh pockets and it's a constant struggle to zip it shut. I do like the false bottom that's there though as I often slam my bag down. There's not much else to say here, I try to avoid opening this compartment as much as I can.

- The other miscellaneous storage areas: Water Bottle pockets, they're fantastic. I love how stretchy they are and they fit my larger bottles well. I also love the hidden pockets built into the bottle sleeves, I went on a vacation with this bag and I put my hotel key card in there and it was so easy to reach back there, grab my key card, get into my room, then put it back for safe keeping without having to take the bag off. The passport/wallet compartment on the back of the bag, I have found no use for yet but maybe it's more useful if you're wheeling it around on a suitcase using the luggage strap in an airport (which I did use briefly on my vacation when checking into my hotel). The passport pocket is quite hard to get open though. And the top pocket for your sunglasses is nice, it does what it needs to.

Miscellaneous stuff: I'm a bigger guy, I have wide shoulders and getting this bag on and off can be a struggle at times. I think I may have found a solution to make it a better experience but it's not perfect. I also found that the straps despite their padding make my shoulders sore after a few hours of walking but it's unlike other bags. Other bags, it genuinely feels like their shoulder straps are digging into me and I remain sore after I take off the bag. This bag, I feel sore, take the bag off and the soreness will go away so I guess the padding does it's job and maybe my shoulders are just getting tired. Also super underrated feature. IT STANDS ON IT'S OWN. I feel like nobody in reviews really appreciates this fact. It's such a small thing but I love it.

Conclusion: It's a fantastic bag but it's just not quite large enough to fit my needs. I avoided the larger LTT backpack because of it's quite frankly awful boxy design paired with the annoying branding logo on it. But since I've bought this bag, they released their WAN Backpack which is still that box shape but the design helps it a lot and they removed that dumb logo patch on the front. So when my budget allows, I think I'll retire the Commuter Bag for the larger WAN Backpack.

Amazing backpack

The backpack was great and kept all my stuff neatly organized. The bright orange interior made everything easier to see with a glance and definitely gave you a better idea of the room you had left if you wanted to keep packing it with your everyday essentials.

Unfortunately it was very short lived for me since about less than a month later my bag was stolen…I will be purchasing a new one when I can afford it again.
