Engineered for your gear
The quick-access tech compartment features a padded laptop pocket with a floating bottom, a raised microsuede-lined tablet sleeve, and stretchy pockets for your chargers and cables. It extends out to give you full access to your devices in seconds, saving you time every day.

Surprising amount of storage
A 20L external volume and a large storage compartment we call “the bag of holding” is built to fit and organize your day-to-day essentials.

Quick-access external pockets
Get access to your water bottle or umbrella within arm’s reach with two external pockets. When not in use, two hidden zipped pockets allow you to store even MORE stuff.

Secure what matters most
Hidden behind the back padding is an even stealthier RFID-blocking pocket to secure valuables like your passport, wallet, keys, or cash.

Carry heavy, feel light
Padded, custom molded shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across your shoulders. An adjustable chest strap allows for greater weight distribution with heavier loads. Also features a padded, ventilated back for extra comfort.

Best Backpack I have used so far

Loved the backpack a lot. It fits a lot, and the design is great and feels sturdy. The workmanship was great, and the design was thoughtful. Thank you Linus and Team!

My bag experience

The bag itself is excellent, I love that it stands by itself, and the quality is amazing, but I took a chance, and the bag is a bit small for my needs

Nice if you have the correct size things

The bag looks great and feels well made — definitely a nice design overall. However, I’ve found a few issues that keep it from being perfect.

First, the straps dig into my shoulders and back more than any bag I’ve used before. It’s not unbearable, but noticeable enough to be uncomfortable on longer walks.

Second, I wish there were more external pockets. A couple of quick-access compartments would’ve made it much more practical for everyday use.

Finally, the internal laptop/iPad section is a bit limiting. It’s clearly designed for just one laptop and one smaller tablet, but it would’ve been better if it could fit two laptops or allow some flexibility, like other bags that just label both sleeves for “iPad/laptop.” With this one, the smaller pocket really only fits an iPad — and if you try to put a larger iPad in there, it can get scratched by the laptop in the adjacent sleeve.

All in all, it’s a good bag, but a few small design tweaks would’ve made it a great one

Very Nice backpack!

The shipping period was long but expected so no problem. The backpack is very nice, a lot of space for gear and clothes. The extra VAT my country (Belgium) added and LTT refunded without a problem is a very nice service! Would buy again!

Good backpack but doesn’t live up to the OG LTT Backpack

TLDR this is a good overall backpack but compared to the OG LTT Backpack it fails in comparison.

I own both backpacks and was very impressed by the original LTT Backpack. It wasn’t perfect but the design was mostly in-line with my use case (I work in IT / SaaS, travel, and play video games).

I was on the market for a commuter bag to replace my existing Nomatic Navigator 15 and decided to give the Commuter Backpack a try. To be clear, I wanted something smaller/less space than the OG LTT Backpack.

What I like:
- Easy access pockets! Both on top and the sides through the water bottle holders. The latter is easy to get to when sliding my bag off 1 arm without taking off the backpack completely. Love how low profile and discrete they are.
- The water bottle holders being external is definitely preferable to the internal water bottle holder in the OG LTT Backpack.
- Luggage passthrough design is better as it’s built in and low profile enough that I don't notice it on my back.
- Internal organization options are just about as good as the OG backpack (despite the smaller footprint).
- overall structure of the bag somehow feels more solid than the OG backpack. I wonder if I just haven't broken it in yet. It still stands up on its own after a few months of use.
- I get a lot of good use from the lash points.

What I don’t like:
- Overall materials. What happened? Almost every aspect of this bag is downgraded with materials. The outer shell seemed like it should have been the same material as the OG backpack but it isn’t. It’s very rough to the touch and attracts lint and dirt. Feels very cheap.
- The handle is thinner which makes sense to some degree but isn't that comfortable for some reason (not that the OG was significantly better tbh). But still feels sturdy and secure which is good.
- The zippers are not YKK like the OG and it shows. Harder to zip and doesn’t feel as premium. They aren’t terrible but I was disappointed.
- The laptop compartment is TIGHT. I already knew going into this that a 16” laptop might not fit but it’s also overall a tight space to put my mouse and iphone charger in the sleeves with a laptop. If you don’t have the backpack packed out, it will work. But trying to fill up everything and use those mouse/charger sleeves in the laptop compartment is basically unusable (although you can throw it in the main compartment which might be less accessible if that’s packed out)
- Although I do feel the external water bottle holders are a big improvement over the OG’s internal solution, I worry about things falling out when I tip my bag over. It hasn’t happened yet but I know that the elastic is bound to start wearing out over time with use. I am “upgrading” from the original version of the Nomatic Navigator 15 backpack which had a hybrid solution of an externally accessible “internal” water bottle pocket which was fantastic. It also had a drainage hole which the Commuter Backpack DOES NOT. Worried about water pooling inside during the rain or from bottle leakage.

Even though I’m pretty harsh with the shortcomings, overall this is a good backpack and I don’t regret the purchase. Just disappointed in some areas and wish I read more reviews ahead of time. Mostly because my expectations were very high after using the OG backpack since day 1 launch (even without the missing bottom layer lol)
