I'm generally really bad about drinking water; usually opting for fizzy drinks instead. That is why I decided to buy something a little more premium -- to encourage me to actually use it -- and it's working so far. The bottle is great; easy to clean, with a simple but secure opening mechanism.

This is the part where I'd complain if I had anything to complain about, my one issue with these bottles was the v1 lid design, they improved that significantly and now it's just a really good bottle with a sick design.

If you drop it from a couple feet with liquid in it it can dent the bottom rim, but these are steel bottles, not Nalgene. And Nalgene isn't keeping your drinks cold for >24 hours

TL;DR Good water bottle, stays cold for a long time, BUT the outside dents very easily.

It is a very good and useful water bottle. I can put ice cubes in, fill the water bottle multiple times, and it easily keeps the cubes for almost 24 hours without fully melting. Cold water itself stays cold for a very long time.

DOWNSIDE: Although it feels very sturdy and strong, it is not actually that tough. Dropping or bumping it won't break the bottle, but it will dent. The first time it fell, it got a small dent on the top (the top curve seems the weakest, currently already have 2). The second time it fell from the table, and now it sits a bit wobbly.

The GOOD thing about this is that the damage is only cosmetic. The inside did not get damaged at all. So at least there is a double wall protecting the liquid.

VERDICT: It is a very good water bottle and good value. However, if you are clumsy or you care a lot about your stuff looking damaged cosmetically, be aware that the outside dents easily.

10 out of 10, keeps water insanely cold for hours. the design speaks to the nerd in me and helps me identify nerds if they say anything about it. it solves hydration and friend finding all in one.
