Description
At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!
If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.
PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.
In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

I've been waiting forever to get this. I subscribed to email notification to be certain i'd know when it came back in stock but the email never came. I ended up noticing it was back by sheer luck. Product itself is great though.
Works as advertised, arrived well packaged and undamaged, straightforward to apply. Would recommend.
The PTM is working great on my 4090. Installation was not more difficult than some of the thermal pads I've installed over the years.
This is an interesting product and I purchased it just to test it out, but its not easy to use.
My package looked to have gotten hot and oozed out around the plastic, leaving a very thin layer that was hard to handle even while cooled in the freezer. The plastic also doesn't remove that easily.
Luckily, its possible to just roll it in to a ball and re-flatten it with a the heat from your hand, so I did that to try it out. Performance wise it seemed fine, but I really don't know why you'd get this over some other high end long lasting paste like Thermal Grizzly Duronaut, besides the fact that you can kinda re-use it.
It works - not in the way I expected.
My temps and utilisation are more stable than with the stock thermal goop on my AIO, but the entire rig now runs colder. I was expecting it to pull even more heat from the CPU, but actually, it’s exhausting less heat than before - supposedly because it’s more efficient at pulling the heat and therefore it doesn’t get as hot.
Installation is simple, just measure and cut. It would be good if LTT provided some cutting guides for common uses, eg AM4, AM5, and Intel’s many schemes to make it easier - maybe even some basic paper/card cutting guides in the box. Otherwise, a great product.
