Nice bag but REALLY needs to be a little thicker

All the materials and a lot of the design are great, but... An extra 5, maybe 10mm, between the mid-wall and the zipper on the generic storage side would go a long way.
I have a very thin charger, thickest part is the plastic around the plugs, and with that alone inserting a standard size laptop (Lenovo T480s) has resistance. The second I put more in it gets significantly harder to close... It really just fails as at storing anything that's not REALLY small.
Other than this the bag is absolutely awesome.

Great bag, with just a few shortfalls away from greatness

This is a great laptop bag. My Dell Precision 5550 fits really well into the large version and can be inserted and removed without issue.

In the other compartment I mostly put usb dongles and my work badge, however, even with those small things the bag can already feel full. Not bloated, and it can definitely fit much more, but I'm not sure I'd put a charging brick into that compartment. That that compartment feels so tight is my main reason why I'm giving the bag only 4 stars. With 5mm or 1cm more depth of that compartment it could fit more things, any other things would be easier to put in and take out when not fully opened. That you can fully unzip that compartment however is a great feature and makes it easy to get things like a badge out when your wearing the bag, though.

I'm using the third compartment for an e-reader and it just works. It's not great as it's also tight, and needs to be fully opened to insert and take out the e-reader, but when the reader is in you can almost forget that it's there.

2 other things that I love are the "hidden" carry handle that is nice to use, and vanishes when not used, and the carry straps and their pocket where they too can vanish when you're not using them. With the straps in the pocket the bag becomes a black rectangle that happens to fit a laptop which makes for a great aesthetic. That alone probably would make the laptop bag that Apple would sell if they sold such things.

The last neat thing that I want to point out are the flat side loops intended for the suitcase strap. Even without the strap they can be used to hang smaller things on the bag. I haven't gotten around to it, but I plan to make myself a harness that would fit those loops that can be used to attach a collapsible umbrella or an empty travel-coffee-mug to the bag.

Solid sleeve, a smidge small

Solid construction and in line with the other bags I have bought from LTT in the past. I like the form factor of this bag, but do agree with other reviewers that it is a smidge too small.

The designed loops and storage areas/loops in the thin front pocket need just 1 - 2 mm more to be effectively used. As is even playing gear tetris to ensure things don't stack, you will NOT be able to use all the provided storage areas/loops and still close the bag.

Additionally, I think the main tech pocket really should have been a yawning pocket like the one on the backpack. As is it can barely able to fit a laptop and an iPad at the same time which is what it seems like the design intent was since they included a divider pocket. Another reviewer I think was incorrect when they said you couldn't fit an iPad and a laptop at the same time in the main laptop compartment; I can but I DO have to put the iPad in first and remove the laptop before removing the iPad in order to get it to work which is annoying. A yawning pocket would have fixed this issue.

Overall, I am a bit disappointed with this bag, but mostly because I think just a handful of minor changes would have made this bag a 10/10. If you really want a laptop sleeve that can fit some essentials (laptop, iPad, charger, some accessory chargers, a slim mouse, etc.) then this is worth considering. But if you are on the fence, I would pass on this bag in its current form.

A couple of tweaks in a v2 design would make this bag a hands down recommendation though, I would probably even consider buying a v2 that had a yawning tech pocket and just smidge more width for the front accessory area.

Good Quality, But bad size and smells bad

I have never had a LTT bag of any sorts, they just never seemed like the right use case for what I needed. I had been anticipating this for close to a year as I was in need of one.
And I will definitly not be getting any other LTT Bag after this.
The bag is very high quality, Unfortunately the bag is just too small/stiff. The Framework 16" only fits in by almost breaking the zipper even though Linus said on Wan that it would fit fine. and forget trying to put anything else that a few pencils and phone charger in it, there is simply no room/stretch to it. Its like they never tested it. This is NOT a bag its a laptop sleeve with some small pockets. The pictures with all the items in the bag are very deceiving.
And the worst thing is that it smells terrible, It stunk up my whole room for a week, and i cant take anything out of it without getting a huge waft of that stench
I would say If you are in the market for a good laptop sleeve for a laptop under the size of a Framework 16" then get it. But the stink of it makes me say that I would NOT recommend this to anyone
